2022-2023 Dance Studio Health Procedures
Studio Lobby Currently Open For 2022-2023 Season
With limited lobby seating it is not a requirement for you to stay while your child is in class. We also ask that you do not arrive more than 5min before class to keep the lobby from getting crowded.
Masks in the lobby are optional but we encourage them if anyone in your family is sick to help prevent spreading of any viruses or common cold.
Masks are optional for ALL Dancers but we strongly encourage dancers to wear a mask during class if anyone in their family is sick to help prevent spreading any viruses or common cold.
DANCE STUDENT TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
On January 4, 2022 CDC updated the COVID 19 isolation and quarantine period to 5 days if fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication, followed by continued masking for an additional 5 days
• Student can return to dance on Day 6 if asymptomatic.
• Student can take a COVID diagnostic test and return to dance it they provide a negative result and asymptomatic.
DANCE STUDENT EXPOSED TO INDIVIDUAL WITH COVID-19
A student may not be prohibited from attending dance class
based on an exposure to COVID -19, regardless of vaccination status, so long as the student remains asymptomatic and has not received a positive test for COVID-19
Students who develop symptoms or test positive after exposure must isolate and meet the return to dance protocols for symptomatic/COVID positive individuals
PERSONS EXEMPT FROM QUARANTINE ARE:
Those who have been fully vaccinated and remain asymptomatic.
Those who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the previous 90 days, as long as they remain asymptomatic.
The studio will not be utilizing Zoom for in studio classes this season. The studio will only operate classes fully through Zoom if the entire studio has to close for a period of time due to government policy or a large occurrence in studio COVID cases.
STUDENTS: Dancers may attend any dance class in their age group / ability level. Students have 3 weeks from the time they return to dance to make up the number of classes they missed while out. Please contact the studio to schedule make-up classes.
TEACHER: If a teacher has to quarantine, classes will have a substitute teacher or be made up on either a Friday or Saturday. Date and Time will be announced once decided.
*The studio will continue to update families if any of the procedures change throughout the 2022-2023 dance season.
