This page includes a list of all hair and makeup items required for every Up Tempo Company performance. Please check with your instructor for any items unique to your classes/dances.

Makeup

  • Revlon Photoready Eye Contour Kit in Metropolitan 501

  • CoverGirl Outlast Lipstick in Classic Red 830

  • Ardell Deluxe Lashes number 110

  • NYX Glitter Primer (strongly suggested, if you have one already you may use)

  • Blush in a dark pink tone that will be seen from a distance

  • Foundation

  • Foundation Powder

  • Black Mascara

  • Black eyeliner

  • Red lip pencil to compliment lip stain

Hair

  • Dancers will wear their hair in a Low Bun (nape of the neck) hair parted in center front of dancer’s head. Please have hair slicked back and bun pulled down to the head. ​

  • A bun maker, matching dancer’s hair color, should be used so buns are uniform. The size of the bun maker can be adjusted to match the hair length. Using a larger bun maker will allow for no twist.
